Accreditations
Did you know Balhousie is accredited as a ‘Which? Trusted Trader’ (WTT) business?
This means Balhousie has undergone a rigorous assessment process, which includes:
A preliminary credit check to validate the financial health and stability of the business.
Customer reference checks, chosen at random by a member of the WTT endorsement team to ensure a broad range of customers are consulted.
A thorough examination of business and administrative procedures.
By signing up, Balhousie agrees to abide by the code of conduct and the Which? Terms and conditions.
Only if successful, the trader can then inform their customers that they have passed the Which? assessment process and are now an endorsed WTT.
By passing the WTT assessment, you can feel confident trusting that all of our reviews are credible, providing a true representation of our work. Not just anyone can become endorsed.
Once endorsed, this status lasts for just 12 months. When membership is up for renewal, we will have to be re-assessed by Which? before we are endorsed again. So, effectively we will be assessed every year by Which? to ensure that our standards haven’t slipped

Better Business Partnership
The Better Business Partnership (BBP) is the trusted trader scheme operating in Perth and Kinross. The aim is to help traders comply with the law while improving consumer protection through a partnership approach.
It is often difficult for consumers to know whether they are dealing with reputable tradesmen or whether they are dealing with one of the small proportion of rogue traders. Concerns are also raised about bogus traders and unscrupulous callers who, after carrying out less than satisfactory work, disappear leaving a mobile phone number as the only contact. In an attempt to address these particular problems the Trading Standards service of Perth & Kinross Council and D Division of Police Scotland have created the Better Business Partnership.
British Standards
Through our supplier of windows and doors, we can assure our customers that the products we install adhere to the following British Standards. A British Standard is a recommended standard that products should be manufactured in accordance with to be recognised as a quality product by the relevant authorities.
