Position: Storeman/Workshop Assistant
Job Description Check delivery of goods against delivery note, label and place in correct location. Carry out random stock checks on individual items as well as assisting with major stock checks. Prepare stock from cutting lists for forthcoming jobs Ensure that the workshop is kept clean and tidy and complies with health and safety legislation. Assist unloading heavy goods Ensure yard is kept clean and tidy and complies with health and safety legislation. Skills & Experience Essential Flexible with ability to work to tight deadlines Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Ability to prioritise workload Basic computer skills Full driving licence Desirable Experience in working in a stores/workshop environment Knowledge of stock control Knowledge of basic health and safety Trade counter experience Benefits Company pension scheme 28 days annual leave (incl public holidays) This is a full-time permanent position with an initial 3 month probationary period.
